2019 1p36 Deletion Suppport & Awareness Annual Conference

The 13th Annual 1p36 Deletion Support & Awareness conference will be held in the breathtaking scenery of the Wasatch mountains, at Snowbird Resort, Salt Lake City, Utah on Thursday August 1st through Saturday August 3rd, 2019. Our annual conference weekend is designed for families, caregivers, support staff, and of course all of our amazing 1p36 Deletion Syndrome children and adults. The 1p36 DSA conference is a wonderful way to become connected with others who share the 1p36 Deletion Syndrome journey, to build relationships, learn from speakers and professionals, and create a system of emotional support beyond your local community. Each year we work hard to cover popular topics and strategies relative to 1p36 Deletion Syndrome. Attendees learn details and in-depth information about this rare syndrome and some of the therapies that can help our kids. Families find an opportunity to share their lives and experiences and for a weekend create a 1p36 Deletion Syndrome community. Attending the conference is more than just learning great information, it’s a chance to not have to explain or apologize for being who you are, to connect and embrace each other, to meet new families, to comfort those who need comfort, to find encouragement and strength, and to have an incredible experience to carry you through until our next annual conference!  While many families have resources and support at home, nothing compares to the value that coming together face to face brings.
